Ibiza is a paradise for partygoers, adventure seekers and relaxing getaway aficionados alike. Its friendly people and comfortable weather make it an easy decision to plan that much needed away time. However sometimes those long flights can take all the fun out of travelling. Here are five tips to make sure you have a stress free holiday in Ibiza.
- Pack lite
Ibiza’s warm climate does not warrant much clothing. Travelling lite is the chicest and easiest way to get around. From the island hopping boats to the plane and taxi it’s a breeze with just a single luggage and a handbag. However don’t forget to include that smart dressed up look for a nice dinner or high end club. Having less to worry about will make the experience much more enjoyable.
- Reserve a private Villa ahead of time
Gather some of your friends together and hire out your Ibiza villa, but be sure you have it booked in advance. Ibiza is a popular spot. You will definitely find an Ibiza villa rental is actually a lot better value than a hotel and definitely more instagramable! From cosy beach side getaways to luxury party houses, you can have it all in Ibiza!
- Get some good sleep before the flight
Beach parties, boat parties or just because we are in Ibiza parties, be ready to party! Be sure you are well rested and energised for when you step on that beach and feel the tropical vibes. Sleep before the flight because we all know how horrid trying to sleep on a plane is. Make a list to help you get organised and don’t forget the basics like an eye mask and ear plugs. Of course you could always catch up on sleep in your private Villa.
- Plan for at least 5 days on the island
To really experience Ibiza we recommend at least five days. Each area is its own unique getaway with quirks to see and do. From San Antonio to Ibiza Town there is a lot to take in and allowing enough time will make it so much more enjoyable. Go ahead, say yes to that all day and all night party, you have time. No one wants to be rushed on holiday. Sometimes it’s really nice to just sit at the Villa and take a dip in the pool or nap off that hangover.
- Book your flights in advance
The best time to visit Ibiza is from May to October when temperatures are comfortable and the party gets going. Between November and April is considered the low season. During that time flight and hotel rates drop and so do the temperatures. Who wants to party on the beach in a coat and a scarf? Anyone? No?
Sometimes airlines offer deals during this low season time. Travel smart and plan ahead and you will have an amazing time in Ibiza!
